ALTEN Limited will shortly be opening new offices in Hampshire, The Midlands and East Anglia and is looking for software engineers with the following skills to work in these locations:
- C, C++, Java, J2ME, ARM Assembly
- Win32 and WinCE development, including device drivers in C & C++
- GSM, UMTS and GPRS (Layers 1 to 3) protocol and handset engineers
- Low level, realtime and embedded software
- PERL, PYTHON, Javascript
- HTML, WAP, XML,TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP and HTTP
- Experience of writing games
- Software testing procedures, TTCN
Applicants should have at least 3 years demonstrable experience in their field.
Positions are also available for Senior Software engineers and Software Project Managers, with a minimum of 10 years experience in software engineering development in C, C++ and Java on DOS/Windows and/or UNIX/X platforms. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience of managing software projects and staff.
