Job Description

What will you be doing? 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale cryogenic gas production projects. This is a high-impact role where you will manage multidisciplinary teams, work closely with clients and suppliers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of major cryogenic gas production projects, ensuring all technical and operational aspects are effectively coordinated. You will act as the primary interface with both clients and suppliers, maintaining clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Birmingham 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Lead the management of large-scale projects, valued over £10 million, from initiation to completion
• Interface effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Oversee the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Support technical decision-making where necessary and facilitate effective problem-solving within the project team

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Proven project management experience in large-scale industrial projects (preferably power plants, gas production, or similar)
• Strong track record managing projects exceeding £10 million in value
• Experience managing project interfaces with clients and suppliers, including scheduling, planning, and budgeting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams and complex project activities
