What will you be doing? 

As an Anchorage Civil Engineer, you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input of data
  • Coordinate the work of CAD designer in conjunction with the Design office manager
  • Perform design activities for fastenings in concrete
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents for the buildings
  • Responsible for anchorage design activities

Who are we looking for? 

  • Anchorage Civil engineer that ensures production and monitoring of the civil engineering of the buildings on the nuclear island
  • Engineers that have knowledge of preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using industry-standard software

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
  • Understand the Eurocodes related to civil engineering and especially knowledge of the design of fastenings in concrete
  • Experience of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures
