What will you be doing? 

As a Senior Manufacturing engineer, you will join the Derby team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Looking at old drawings to help suppliers with manufacturing issues;
  • Working as a team to optimise manufacturing processes across production.
  • Taking part in project management activities
  • Liaising with several stakeholders, taking part in strategic meetings, and coordinating action plans
  • Management and resolution of Material Availability/Alternative Materials

 

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • YOE 5+ preference with an Aerospace background
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Experience of precision parts is beneficial: eg, casting, forging, CNC milling, Laser cutting, Team Centre. 
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  • Degree in a relevant engineering field.
