What will you be doing? 

As a Supply Chain Quality Engineer  you will join the team in Bristol to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Collaborate with suppliers during the product development phase to ensure adherence to APQP principles, including establishing quality requirements, conducting risk assessments, and developing control plans.
  • Guide suppliers through the PPAP process, ensuring timely submission of required documentation and evidence to demonstrate capability to meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier quality issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement effective solutions.

Who are we looking for? 

  • Proven experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) methodologies.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
