What will you be doing? 

As a battery validation engineer, you will join Gaydon team to support our activities within the automotive sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Conduct battery energy management component testing and validation according to required standards.
  • Perform shaker and vibration testing on batteries.
  • Develop test plans utilizing anemometers to measure and analyze air flow.
  • Create and maintain design verification test reports.
  • Lead or assist in technical reviews focused on resolving issues with battery systems.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • Valid UK driving license with access to a car.
  • Solid understanding of power unit engineering, including components and systems.
  • Experienced in system design and validation.
  • Proficient with tools such as CANanlyser, INCA, and Glyphworks for data acquisition and analysis.
