What will you be doing? 

As a Driveline Engineer, you will join Coventry team to support our activities within the Automotive sector

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Designing and integrating Electric Drive Unit (EDU) Gearboxes and Driveshafts: Craft innovative solutions that optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability for our next-generation EVs.
  • Mastering DFMEA: Identify and mitigate potential failures for seamless integration and optimal product lifecycles.
  • Leading Design Validation: Ensure EDUs and driveshafts meet stringent quality and performance standards through rigorous testing and analysis.
  • Applying expert GD&T: Establish clear design specifications and tolerances for flawless manufacturing and assembly.
  • Tackling NVH: Utilize CAE analysis to minimize noise, vibration, and harshness for a superior driving experience.
  • Functional Safety and Cyber Security: Implement ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 principles to guarantee safe and secure operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in driveline design and development, preferably with EVs.
  • Understanding in EDUs, Gearboxes, Driveshafts, and Rotating Parts.
