What will you be doing? 

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will join the Silverstone team to support our activities within the automotive sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the design and development of Power Electronics – Driveline Components, including inverters, AC-AC, and AC-DC systems.
  • Conduct Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks in the early stages of product development.
  • Ensure compliance with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process standards to guarantee the highest quality in the production of driveline components.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) to validate the performance and reliability of power electronics components.
  • Apply ISO26262 standards for Functional Safety in the design and implementation of driveline components.
  • Utilize expertise in electric drives, transmission, and automatic gearbox systems to enhance the overall driveline performance.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  •  Experience in the design, development, and validation of Power Electronics – Driveline Components.
  •  Knowledge of DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and ISO26262 standards.
