Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a process engineer to join our team in Thetford within the pharmaceutical sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.

As part of our development in the Pharmaceutical sector, we are currently looking for process Engineers with significant experience in designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes.

Your new role:

As a process engineer, you will be one of our quality consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the pharmaceuticals industry.

As a process engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly in compliance with good manufacturing practices ( GMP)
• Develop and set the control strategy for assigned NPIs
• Lead the technical transfer of the product from the pilot plant to the factory
• Manage and lead process development activities for assigned projects
• Write and review/authorize GMP-critical documentation, such as experimental reports

Experience required:

• Process engineer experience within a manufacturing environment
• GMP practices
• Technical transfer understanding is a plus
• Experience with Delta V

Qualifications required:

Degree in a relevant engineering disciple with demonstrable experience.
